PAUL SCOTT

Paul Scott joined the clarinet section in 2022 after moving to Cornville in 2020 with his new wife, Roxane Firmin Scott. Previously, he lived in New Castle, Colorado, where he played for a season and a half with the Symphony in the Valley, based in Glenwood Springs. Immediately before that he played in the Boulder Concert Band in Boulder, CO, for about 7 seasons after a long hiatus since his college years at Duke University. After Duke and a short career teaching high school math, Paul earned graduate degrees in Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona and had a much longer career in the aerospace industriy in California, New Mexico, and Colorado. His favorite hobby outside music is road cycling, and he is also active in the Baha'i Faith.
